New York Press Club Poll: Should “Perp Walks” be Banned?

There is a proposal before the New York City Council to ban “perp walks,” the practice of parading arrested individuals past an assembled group of journalists. Supporters of the ban say perp walks presume guilt, and tarnish the jury pool. The NYPD and some journalism organizations oppose the proposed ban. Let us know how you feel about this issue.
